Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General category; 40% for SC/ST/OBC category as per DCI norms.
• Must have completed at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.
• Must qualify NEET UG conducted by NTA: 50th percentile for General, 40th for SC/ST/OBC.
• Candidates must be medically fit as per DCI and CDCRI standards for BDS admission.

Fee Structure Breakdown

• Year 1 tuition fee: ₹2,43,000.
• Year 2, 3, and 4 tuition fee: ₹2,43,000 per year each (approx.).
• Total tuition for 4-year BDS academic course: ₹9,29,676 (approx.).
• University fee (AHSU): ₹5,000 - ₹7,000 per year approx.
• Caution deposit: ₹10,000 (refundable at course completion).
• Hostel fee: ₹75,000 - ₹1,00,000 per year (separate hostels for boys and girls).
• Mess charges: ₹4,000 - ₹6,000 per month (veg and non-veg meal plans available separately).
• Grand Total for entire 5-year BDS course including hostel: ₹14,00,000 - ₹16,00,000 approx.

Seat Matrix

• Total BDS seats: 100 per year (DCI approved intake since 2002).
• As a private dental college, 100% of BDS seats are filled through Chhattisgarh State Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur.
• No separate State Quota or AIQ split; all seats are filled through state counselling.
• NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National seats: Designated NRI seats available as per DCI norms.

Chhattisgarh State Counselling (100% seats)

• Conducted by DME, Chhattisgarh at dme.cg.gov.in; open to all India candidates (primarily Chhattisgarh domicile).
• Register on DME portal after NEET UG results; pay non-refundable registration fee as per state norms.
• Pay refundable security deposit as per state norms.
• Upload documents, fill and lock college and course preferences including CDCRI Rajnandgaon, and participate in multiple rounds.
• NEET UG 2024 General category state counselling closing rank: approximately 3,50,000 to 4,00,000 (closing score approximately 280 to 310 marks).

Post-Allotment Reporting at CDCRI

• Report to Chhattisgarh Dental College & Research Institute, NH-53, G.E. Road, Sundra, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh - 491441 within the date mentioned in the allotment letter.

• Documents required (NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates additionally): Passport and Visa of sponsor (proof of NRI status), Proof of relationship between sponsor and candidate, Notarized affidavit from sponsor confirming full course fee sponsorship, Embassy or Consulate certificate of sponsor (issued within last 6 months), Notarized Family Tree certified by Tehsildar, Annexure I issued by DME for nationality conversion if applicable.
