Must have passed BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/IT/CS or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in qualifying examination.
Must have a valid GATE score OR a valid score in PERA (Pune University Entrance Exam for Research and Admission) conducted by DY Patil University.
Candidates without GATE can also apply, but preference is given to GATE-qualified candidates.

Admission Process
For GATE candidates: Register on the DYPU admission portal (admissions.dypatil.edu) after GATE results.
For Non-GATE candidates: Appear for the PERA entrance exam conducted by DY Patil University.
Fill the online application form, upload documents, and pay the application fee of Rs. 1,500.
Merit list is prepared based on: 70% weightage to GATE/PERA score + 30% weightage to UG marks.
Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling and document verification at DY Patil School of Engineering, Lohegaon, Pune.
Seat confirmation upon payment of the first-year tuition fee.

Documents required: GATE/PERA scorecard, BE/B.Tech all semester mark sheets and degree certificate, Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, Caste certificate (if applicable), 6 passport-size photographs, Aadhaar card, Anti-ragging undertaking.
