Fee Structure Breakdown
- Year 1 tuition: Rs. 1,35,000
- Year 2 tuition: Rs. 1,35,000
- Total tuition for M.Tech CSE: Rs. 2,70,000
- University development fee: Rs. 12,000 per year approx.
- Examination fee: Rs. 3,500 per semester approx.
- Hostel & Mess: Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per year depending on single/double sharing and AC/non-AC.
- Placement record (Avg CTC): Rs. 6.5 LPA - Rs. 9 LPA for CSE branch.
Seat Matrix
- Total M.Tech CSE seats: 36 (AICTE approved).
- 85% seats: Through Uttarakhand state counseling (UBTER) based on GATE score.
- 15% seats (Management Quota): Direct admission by the university based on GEU entrance test/interview.
- NRI/Foreign National seats: Available under management quota with fee payable in USD (approx. $4,500/year).
Admission Process
- Step 1: Register on the official Graphic Era admission portal (geu.ac.in).
- Step 2: For GATE candidates: Upload GATE scorecard and apply through UBTER counseling (ubter.com).
- Step 3: For Non-GATE candidates: Appear for the Graphic Era University Entrance Test (GEU-ET) conducted online.
- Step 4: Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI).
- Step 5: Final merit list is prepared based on 70% entrance + 30% interview (or GATE score).
- Step 6: Pay admission confirmation fee (Rs. 25,000) within 7 days of allotment.

- 10th & 12th mark sheets, B.E./B.Tech all semester mark sheets and degree certificate, GATE scorecard (if applicable), GEU entrance admit card (if applicable), Category certificate (if SC/ST/OBC/Uttarakhand domicile), Transfer/Migration certificate, Character certificate, 6 passport-size photographs, Aadhar card, Anti-ragging affidavit.
