Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects.
  • Must have secured a minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for General/OBC/EWS category (40% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Must be between 17 and 35 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Admission is based on merit in Class 12 PCB marks. NEET UG is not mandatory for B.Sc. Nursing admission.

Admission Process

Admission to B.Sc. Nursing at Kalka Nursing College is merit-based on Class 12 PCB aggregate scores. Candidates must apply online through the KGI admissions portal or visit the campus directly. The college is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council (UPNMC). After application, a merit list is prepared and published by the college. Shortlisted candidates must report with original documents for verification: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, character certificate, domicile certificate, 8 passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate, and category certificate if applicable. Fee must be paid on the day of reporting to confirm the seat. Separate hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls on campus at Rs. 95,000 per year.
