Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
Minimum 75% aggregate in PCM for General/OBC/EWS category; relaxation for SC/ST as per government norms (65% aggregate).
Must have a valid score in JEE Main (Paper 1).
Admissions are conducted through centralized counseling by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB.
Only Indian nationals are eligible for admission through JoSAA. Foreign nationals/PIO/OCI/NRI candidates may apply through DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme.

Admissions are based on JEE Main scores and centralized counseling through JoSAA.
Admission Process
Step 1: Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in JEE Main (Paper 1).
Step 2: Application: Register for centralized counseling through JoSAA (josaa.nic.in) after JEE Main results are declared. The registration fee is approximately Rs. 1,000.
Step 3: Counseling & Selection: Candidates are shortlisted based on their JEE Main All India Ranks and are called for choice filling and document verification. The final seat allotment is based on the candidate's rank, category, and filled choices.
Step 4: Final Merit List: The final selection is based on the JEE Main score and the candidate's performance in the counseling process.
There is no management quota for MNNIT admissions.
Post-Selection Reporting
Upon selection, candidates must report to the campus for document verification and fee payment.
