Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/M.Sc or equivalent (AMIE etc.) from a recognized university with a valid GATE score.
General/OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale) in aggregate or in the final two semesters/year.
SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% marks (or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale) in aggregate or in the final two semesters/year.
GATE cutoff (overall all categories): 198 - 533 across all categories.

Register on the COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) for IIT admissions.
Participate in COAP counseling rounds for seat allocation.
Selection is based on GATE score only or GATE score (70% weightage) and a personal interview (30% weightage).
Final admission after document verification and fee payment at IIT Kharagpur.
