M.Tech. in Geotechnical Engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA for General/OBC category; 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD category.
• Valid GATE score in a relevant paper is mandatory.

Admission Process for M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is primarily based on a valid GATE score, followed by CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech) counselling.
• Candidates must first register and apply on the official CCMT portal (ccmt.admissions.nic.in).
• After shortlisting, candidates must register on the CCMT portal to fill choices and accept offers.
• Selection may also include a written test and/or a personal interview for some specializations.
• The final merit list is prepared based on GATE score, academic record, and performance in the interview.
• For the latest academic session (2026), the CCMT counselling is expected to begin in May 2026.
