M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

• Must have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in CSE/ISE/ECE/EEE or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in qualifying examination.
• Valid GATE score is preferred. Non-GATE candidates may be considered based on PGCET or university entrance test.
• No upper age limit as per AICTE norms.

Fee Structure Breakdown

• Annual tuition fee (approx.): Rs. 1,40,000 - Rs. 1,80,000 (subject to revision by university).
• University registration and examination fee: Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 15,000 per year approx.
• Caution deposit: Rs. 5,000 (refundable).
• Hostel and mess charges: Separate payment as per hostel allotment.
• Total for 2 years including hostel (approx.): Rs. 4,00,000 - Rs. 5,50,000.

Admission Process

• Admission through Karnataka PGCET, GATE, or Presidency University Entrance Test (PUET).
• Candidate must register on Presidency University website or KEA portal for PGCET.
• Merit list prepared based on GATE/PGCET/PUET scores followed by counseling.
• Shortlisted candidates must report to Presidency University, Bengaluru for document verification and fee payment.

Post-Selection Reporting

• Address: Presidency University, Itgalpur, Rajankunte, Yelahanka, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560089.
• Documents required: All semester/year mark sheets of B.E./B.Tech, Degree certificate, GATE/PGCET scorecard, Class 10 & 12 certificates, Transfer certificate, Migration certificate (if applicable), Category certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs, ID proof, Anti-ragging undertaking.
