Himachal Pradesh B.Tech Admission to the first 50% of the seats will be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in JEE Main 2023. The remaining 50% of seats will be filled up on the basis of the merit of HPCET 2023. Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is conducting a counseling Process. Through Counselling, you will get admission to top engineering colleges in Himachal Pradesh. Through the counseling process, students will fill in their preferences for admission.
Seats will be allotted as per the choices filled, rank, category, and availability of seats. Students have to appear at the allotted college with the required documents and fees to confirm their admission.
Step 1: Registration
Students have to complete the registration process by submitting details’. After successful registration, candidates will receive a unique registration number
Step 2: Fees & Submission
After registration, Students seeking admission through JEE Main score will have to pay the HPCET 2023 counselling fee.

Students applying through both JEE Main 2023 and HPCET 2023 scores will have to make a non-refundable payment of the counselling fee. The counselling fee for such Students will be different.

Counseling Important Point
- Students should present face to face at the time of the counseling of HPCET 2023. Students failing to succeed in the venue as per the scheduled time will forfeit their claim.
- Students should confirm that they carry all the relevant documents to the counselling venue.
- Students will need to pay the University fee at the time of HPCET 2023 counselling within the sort of a requirement draft drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University payable at Hamirpur or through POS (Point of Sales) Machine (without any extra charge) using Debit/Credit Card of any bank on the spot.
- Students who are going to be listed within the HPCET merit list 2023 are going to be eligible to participate altogether in the rounds of counseling.
- 50% of the entire seats are going to be filled by JEE Main Students and therefore the rest 50% for HPCET applicants. If seats are still left vacant, the remaining seats are going to be offered on the idea of 10+2 marks
