JOSSA Counseling 2023 is going to be released after the announcement of the JEE Main/Advance Rank. JEE Main may be a national levels entrance test regulated by the NTA (National Testing Agency). Through JEE Main exam, students can get admission to UG engineering & architecture courses. Various top colleges of India like NITs, IIITs & other institutions consider JEE Main score for providing admissions. Students must qualify for both (JEE Advanced & JEE Main exams) for admission to IITs. The counseling process is going to be administrated by JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Here we are providing details about JOSSA Counselling 2023.
Registration – The candidates will have to complete the JoSAA 2023 registration process. Candidates could follow the given process to register for JoSAA 2023.

Enter JEE Main 2023 roll number and password to register.
JEE Advanced 2023 qualified candidates will be able to use their corresponding password to log in.
Enter basic details such as the candidate’s nationality, state code of eligibility, gender and more.
Review the details and reconfirm it.
No personal information, except for contact information, can be modified by the candidates.

JoSAA Choice Filling – After the JoSAA registration process is completed, candidates will have to fill in their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. The courses and colleges for which the candidates are eligible according to their qualifications (JEE Main or JEE Advanced) will be listed online mode. The selection of courses and colleges has to be done in the order of preference.
Choice Locking – Finally, the candidates have to lock their selected choices. It has to be noted that no changes will be accepted once the choices are locked by the candidates. A printout of the locked choices has to be taken for future reference.
As per the filled choices, the seat is going to be allotted to candidates by JOSSA. Candidates must take a printout of the “Provisional Seat Allocation Letter” and e-challan for seat acceptance
At the time of accepting the seat, candidates will need to choose freeze, slide, or float options for subsequent rounds

The seat acceptance fee is going to be Rs. 20,000/- for reserved categories and Rs. 45,000/- for general candidates. Candidates will need to pay the fee through e-challan & SBI net banking. Candidates paying fees through e-challan must take a printout of it for further use.
Reporting at the Allotted Reporting Center for Verification: After the seat acceptance fee payment, candidates will need to appear at the reporting center for verification. Candidates will need to bring the specified documents to the Centre.
The seat is going to be confirmed by the reporting Centre after the verification of documents. If candidates fail to report back to the allotted Centre their offer is going to be rejected
Reporting to the Allotted College: Once the seat gets confirmed by the reporting center, candidates will need to report back to the allotted college or institution. Students will need to bring the documents and admission fees as prescribed by the allotted college
