M.Tech. in Petroleum Processing and Petrochemical Engineering

• B.Tech. or its equivalent examination in Chemical / Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent CPI/CGPA/NAG.
• Valid GATE score is mandatory for admission.
• For remaining seats, the university conducts its own Departmental Admission Test.

Admission Process for M.Tech Programs:

• Admission is primarily based on a valid GATE score.
• Candidates must apply online through the official AMU admission portal (www.amu.ac.in) when applications are open.
• Shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling and document verification.
• Final selection is based on GATE score and performance in the counseling process.
• In case of vacant seats after considering GATE-qualified candidates, the university conducts its own Departmental Admission Test.
