B.E. in Electrical Engineering

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following as compulsory subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Informatics Practice / Information Technology.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class XII.
• Must have a valid score in any of the accepted entrance exams: CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test), JEE Main, or CUET.
• Exemption from CUCET is provided for students who have secured 90% or more marks in the qualifying examination or up to 50000 rank in JEE Main.

Fee Structure Breakdown

• Total tuition fee for 4-year B.E. program: Rs. 8.80 Lakhs (based on Rs. 1,10,000 per semester x 8 semesters).
• Yearly tuition fee: Approx. Rs. 2.20 Lakhs.
• Hostel fee: Rs. 1.30 Lakhs to Rs. 1.50 Lakhs per year, depending on accommodation type.
• Total fee for entire course (including hostel): Approx. Rs. 14.00 Lakhs - Rs. 14.80 Lakhs.

Admission Process

• Step 1: Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in CUCET, JEE Main, or CUET.
• Step 2: Application: Fill out the online application form on the official Chandigarh University website. The application fee is approximately Rs. 1,000.
• Step 3: Selection & Counselling: Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification based on their entrance exam scores.
