Admission Process Flow
Admissions at Chandigarh University are primarily conducted through the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), which is mandatory for most professional courses like B.E., MBA, and Pharmacy. The process begins with online registration on the university's portal, followed by selecting an exam date for CUCET. Based on the performance in the entrance exam, students are awarded scholarships and offered seats during the counseling process. For B.E./B.Tech programs, scores from JEE Main are also accepted, while NATA scores are required for Architecture. Postgraduate admissions like MBA also consider scores from national-level exams like CAT, MAT, or XAT.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.E./B.Tech programs: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology with at least 50-60% aggregate marks. For MBA: A graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. For Other UG Courses: Completion of 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate.
