M.Tech. by Research in Renewable Energy Systems

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent in any engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA for General/OBC category; 55% marks or equivalent CGPA for SC/ST/PwD category.
• Valid GATE score or DTU's MTech by Research Admission Test is mandatory.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview for final selection.

Admission Process for M.Tech by Research Programs:

• Admission is based on GATE score or DTU's MTech by Research Admission Test.
• Candidates must register and fill the online application form on the official DTU admission portal (dtu.ac.in).
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by the University.
• Final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test and interview.
• This program is research-intensive, dedicating 75% of its duration to research.
• For the latest academic session (2026-27), the application process is expected to begin in May 2026.
