Admission Process Flow

Admissions to the B.Tech programs at DTU are conducted through the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi, which uses JEE Main All India Ranks as the primary selection criterion. Candidates must participate in the centralized JAC Delhi counseling process. For M.Tech programs, selection is based on valid GATE scores. MBA admissions are determined by CAT/MAT scores followed by a group discussion and personal interview. For PhD programs, the university conducts its own entrance test (DTU-RAT) followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. Admission for international students is facilitated through the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme.

General Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and English, securing a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM. Relaxation is provided for reserved categories. For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. For MBA: A graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks and a valid CAT/MAT score.
