B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in the 10+2 examination (or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective board).
• Must have qualified JEE Main and subsequently JEE Advanced with a valid rank.
• Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
• Admission is strictly through the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) centralized counseling process based on JEE Advanced rank.

Fee Structure Breakdown

• Total Tuition Fee (4 years): Rs. 8 Lakhs (Rs. 2 Lakhs per year).
• Other Academic Fees (including caution deposit, etc.): approx. Rs. 81,680.
• Total Academic Fees: Rs. 8.82 Lakhs.
• Hostel Fees (per semester for Gen/OBC/EWS with income above INR 5 Lakhs): approx. Rs. 30,650 (including mess advance of Rs. 19,600).

• Total B.Tech seats: 254 across all specializations.
• Computer Science and Engineering: 53 seats.
• Seats are allocated through JoSAA counseling across various categories (General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwD).

Admission Process (JoSAA Counseling 2026)

• Step 1: Appear and qualify for JEE Main 2026.
• Step 2: Qualify for JEE Advanced 2026 (expected exam date: May 17, 2026).
• Step 3: Register for JoSAA counseling at josaa.nic.in (expected to begin June 2, 2026).
• Step 4: Fill in institute and course preferences, including IIT Tirupati and desired B.Tech branches.
• Step 5: Participate in multiple rounds of seat allocation based on JEE Advanced rank, category, and preferences.
• Step 6: If a seat is allotted, report to the reporting center for document verification and payment of admission fees.

Post-Selection Reporting

• Upon seat allotment, candidates must report to a designated JoSAA reporting center (not necessarily the institute) for document verification.
• Required Documents: JoSAA seat allotment letter, JEE Main and JEE Advanced scorecards, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates, Proof of Date of Birth, Category certificate (if applicable), Income certificate (for fee waiver), PwD certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs, Medical fitness certificate.
