M.Tech in Biosciences and Bioengineering

• B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or B.Pharm with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
• M.Sc in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Microbiology with minimum 60% and valid GATE in BT (Biotechnology) or XL (Life Sciences).
• Valid GATE score in BT or XL required.

Fee Structure – Same as other M.Tech programs.

Admission – Through CCMT for GATE-BT candidates. For GATE-XL candidates, direct application to IIT Guwahati may be considered; check institute website.

Seats – 30. Category-wise as per GOI.

Research areas: Tissue engineering, biomaterials, computational biology, bioinformatics, medical devices.

Reporting – IIT Guwahati. Document verification includes degree, GATE score, category certificates.
