Admission Cycle 2024-25

Registration Phase

Admission to undergraduate B.Tech and B.Des programs is conducted through national-level entrance exams: JEE Advanced (via JoSAA/CSAB) and UCEED respectively. For postgraduate M.Tech admissions, candidates must qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and participate in the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). M.Sc. admissions are through the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM), while M.Des admissions require a valid CEED score. Ph.D. admissions involve a department-wise written test followed by a personal interview.

Key Deadlines

B.Tech admissions typically begin in June/July following JEE Advanced results. M.Tech and Ph.D. application windows for the July session generally open in March and close by mid-April. M.Sc. admissions follow the JAM timeline (February to May).

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards, alongside a valid JEE Advanced rank. For M.Tech: A four-year Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale (or 60% marks) and a valid GATE score. For MBA: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI and a valid CAT score.
