M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or equivalent with 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
• Valid GATE score in ME (Mechanical Engineering).
• AMIE (Section A & B) in Mechanical with 60% also eligible.
• Sponsored candidates: 2 years relevant work experience.

Fee Structure Breakdown – Same as M.Tech CSE.

Specializations offered: Thermal & Fluids Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, CAD/CAM, Robotics.

Admission Process – Through CCMT. GATE score in ME required. Candidates are allotted based on rank and preferences.

Seats – Total 60 across specializations. Category-wise distribution as per GOI.

Reporting – IIT Guwahati campus. Documents include degree certificates, GATE scorecard, CCMT allotment letter, category certificates, etc.
