B.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject as optional.
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
• Valid score in Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is mandatory.
• Selection is based on MET score followed by counseling.

Fee Breakdown:

• Total tuition fee: ₹19.58 Lakhs for the full 4-year program (approx. ₹4.89 Lakhs per year).
• Hostel fee: ₹97,500 per year (as per NRI quota fee structure).
• Total fee including hostel: Approx. ₹23.48 Lakhs.
• Refundable caution deposit: ₹10,000 (one-time).
• Average placement package: ₹8.5 LPA (for Electronics Engineering, similar for other branches).

Admission Process:

• Step 1: Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by MAHE. MET is the primary and mandatory entrance exam for all B.Tech programs at MIT Manipal.
• Step 2: Application: Register online at the official MAHE admissions portal (manipal.edu). Application fee is approx. Rs. 1,600 (one-time).
• Step 3: Counseling & Selection: Based on MET rank, candidates are called for online/physical counseling. Seat allocation is done strictly based on MET merit rank and category.
• Step 4: Final Merit List: Final selection is based on MET score (50% weightage) and 10+2 marks (50% weightage) as per MAHE policy.

Post-Selection Reporting:

• Report to MIT Manipal campus, Manipal, Karnataka - 576104 within the stipulated date mentioned in the allotment letter.
• Required Documents: Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates, MET scorecard, Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate (if applicable), Caste certificate (if applicable), Domicile certificate (if applicable), Passport-size photographs, Medical fitness certificate, Anti-ragging undertaking.
