Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Planning (B.Plan), Architecture (B.Arch), or Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 60% aggregate (or 6.5 CGPA) for General/EWS/OBC categories; 55% (or 6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST/PwD.
  • Valid GATE score (required for CCMT counseling).
  • Final-year students can also apply.
  • Additional seats: Available under Self-Sponsored and Sponsored categories.

Admission Process

Admission Process

  • Admissions are conducted through the Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. (CCMT). Candidates must register on the official CCMT portal (ccmt.nic.in).
  • Selection is based on the candidate's GATE score and rank.
  • Shortlisted candidates are allotted seats through the CCMT counseling process.
  • After seat allotment, candidates must report to NIT Calicut for document verification and fee payment.

  • Anti-ragging undertaking.

Detailed Fee Structure

Total tuition fee for the 2-year course: approx. ₹1,40,000. One-time fee (Caution Deposit, Admission, etc.): approx. ₹61,000. Hostel fee: approx. ₹12,000 per semester plus mess charges. Total approximate cost including hostel: ₹3.56 Lakhs. SC/ST students are exempt from tuition fees under CCMT.
