Admission Process: Admission is primarily through the VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) followed by online counseling. GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible for admission.
Steps to Apply:
- Visit the official VIT admissions portal (admissions.vit.ac.in).
- Register as a new user and fill out the online application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the required documents, including a recent passport-size photograph and signature.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1200 (for all categories) online via net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
- Submit the application form before the deadline, which is typically in April.
- Download and print the completed application form for future reference.
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates must appear for the VITMEE exam, which is conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers across India.
- Qualified candidates are shortlisted for online counseling based on their VITMEE or GATE scores.
- Seat allotment is done during the online counseling process, based on merit, program preferences, and seat availability.
- Selected candidates must report to the allotted campus for document verification and payment of admission fees.
