M.Tech (Master of Technology)

• Educational Qualification: Must have a full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or a relevant field from a recognized university.
• Minimum Marks: Must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA in their qualifying degree. A minimum of 60% aggregate in 10th and 12th standards is also required.
• Entrance Exams: Admission is based on a valid score in VIT's Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) or a valid GATE score.
• Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final year/semester exams in the current year are also eligible to apply.

Admission Process: Admission is primarily through the VIT Master's Entrance Examination (VITMEE) followed by online counseling. GATE-qualified candidates are also eligible for admission.

Steps to Apply:

• Visit the official VIT admissions portal (admissions.vit.ac.in).
• Register as a new user and fill out the online application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
• Upload the required documents, including a recent passport-size photograph and signature.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1200 (for all categories) online via net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
• Submit the application form before the deadline, which is typically in April.
• Download and print the completed application form for future reference.

Selection Procedure:

• Candidates must appear for the VITMEE exam, which is conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers across India.
• Qualified candidates are shortlisted for online counseling based on their VITMEE or GATE scores.
• Seat allotment is done during the online counseling process, based on merit, program preferences, and seat availability.
• Selected candidates must report to the allotted campus for document verification and payment of admission fees.
