Admission Process Flow

Admissions to GDCH Mumbai are purely entrance-based and merit-driven. For the BDS program, candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the NTA. For MDS, candidates must qualify for the NEET MDS conducted by NBEMS. Following the exam results, candidates must participate in the counseling process. 15% of BDS and 50% of MDS seats are filled through the All India Quota (AIQ) counseling conducted by the MCC. The remaining 85% of BDS and 50% of MDS seats are filled through State Level Counseling conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra. Document verification and payment of admission fees are mandatory steps at the allotted college.

General Eligibility Criteria

For BDS: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC). The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. For MDS: Candidates must possess a BDS degree from a DCI-recognized university and must have completed a mandatory one-year rotatory internship by March 31 of the year of admission. Permanent registration with DCI or State Dental Council is required.
