Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad spans a sprawling 393-acre campus in the mineral-rich region of Jharkhand. It holds a unique position as the third oldest institute to be converted into an IIT. The institute operates 18 academic departments and several interdisciplinary centers, including a state-of-the-art Central Research Facility. With over 8,500 students and a dedicated faculty of more than 400 members, the institute is a 'think tank' for various ministries of the Government of India and maintains international collaborations with over 37 global institutions.
