Admission Process Flow
Admission to the flagship B.Tech and B.S. programs is strictly based on the rank obtained in the JEE Advanced exam, followed by JoSAA counseling. Candidates must first qualify JEE Main to appear for JEE Advanced. Admission to M.Tech programs requires a valid GATE score and registration through the COAP portal. MBA admissions are conducted via the CAT exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI). For M.Sc. programs, candidates must qualify for IIT JAM, while design programs (B.Des/M.Des) require UCEED or CEED scores respectively.
General Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD). For M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a Master's degree in Science with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD) and a valid GATE score. For MBA: A Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CPI. Ph.D. eligibility requires a Master's degree in a relevant field with a high academic record and qualifying a national-level entrance exam like GATE, CEED, or UGC-NET.
