Registration Phase

Admissions at IIT Indore are highly competitive and primarily entrance-based. For B.Tech and B.Des programs, candidates must qualify for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced, with seat allocation handled by JoSAA. For M.Tech and M.S. (Research), admission is granted based on GATE scores through the COAP portal. M.Sc. admissions require a valid IIT JAM score followed by CCMN counseling. Ph.D. admissions occur twice a year (Autumn and Spring) based on national-level exam scores (GATE/NET/JRF) followed by written tests and personal interviews conducted by the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20 percentile of their board. M.Tech: A relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with a qualifying GATE score and a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60%. M.Sc.: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a valid IIT JAM rank. Ph.D.: A Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks and a valid national fellowship or qualifying score in GATE/NET.
