After completing the BDS course, students can pursue various career options, including:

• •MDS: Students can pursue an MDS course in various specialisations.
• •Private Practice: Students can start their own dental practice.
• •Government Dental Officer: Students can apply for government dental officer roles through state PSC exams.
• •Corporate Dental Chains: Students can work with corporate dental chains, such as Clove Dental.

The Institute of Dental Sciences provides a mandatory 1-year rotating internship as part of the BDS course. The internship provides hands-on experience in various dental specialisations. The institute also provides clinical training to students, which helps them to develop their skills and knowledge in dentistry.
