Admission Process Flow
Admissions at KARE are primarily based on performance in entrance examinations. For B.Tech programs, candidates must appear for the Kalasalingam Engineering Entrance Examination (KEEE) or provide valid JEE Main scores. Post-examination, successful candidates participate in a university-led counseling process for seat allotment. For PG programs like MBA and M.Tech, scores from national-level exams such as CAT, MAT, TANCET, or GATE are accepted, followed by group discussions or personal interviews where applicable.
General Eligibility Criteria
For undergraduate B.Tech programs, candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For postgraduate programs like MBA, a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks is required. Ph.D. applicants must hold a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or 5.5 CGPA). Reserved category candidates are provided relaxations as per government norms.
