Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology traces its origins to 1962, when it was established as MMM Engineering College in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. It was elevated to full state university status in 2013, becoming MMMUT, named after the noted educationist and freedom-movement leader Madan Mohan Malaviya. The university runs undergraduate programmes across Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.

MMMUT serves as a key regional technical institute for eastern Uttar Pradesh, an area historically underserved relative to the state's western and central regions.
