Admission Procedure 2025-26
Admission to MGPGI is strictly merit-based and conducted through national-level entrance examinations followed by centralized counseling.
- Undergraduate (BDS): Candidates must qualify for NEET-UG. Counseling for 85% state quota seats is conducted by CENTAC (Centralised Admission Committee), Puducherry, while the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are filled via MCC.
- Postgraduate (MDS): Admission is based on NEET-MDS scores. 50% of seats are reserved for Puducherry residents (via CENTAC), and 50% are All India Quota seats (via MCC/DGHS).
- Eligibility: For BDS, 10+2 with 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For MDS, a recognized BDS degree and completion of a one-year compulsory rotatory internship are mandatory.
