MCODS graduates commonly pursue MDS specialisation (many stay within MAHE's own postgraduate programmes, competitive given the strong faculty base), private practice, roles with corporate dental chains, government dental officer positions, or licensing pathways abroad. MAHE's long-standing alumni network across dentistry provides additional mentorship and referral pathways relative to newer dental colleges.

The mandatory 1-year rotating internship is completed at MCODS's own dental hospital across all specialities, a Dental Council of India (now National Dental Commission) requirement before BDS graduates can register to practise.
