National Institute of Technology Delhi

National Institute of Technology, Delhi was established in 2010 as one of the newer NITs sanctioned under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. It operates from a campus in Narela on Delhi's northern outskirts, running undergraduate programmes in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.

As a young institute, NIT Delhi is still building out its permanent infrastructure and research profile relative to older NITs, but its location within the National Capital Region gives it a meaningful advantage in recruiter access and internship opportunities.

The NIT Delhi campus in Narela is being developed in phases, with academic blocks, hostels, and laboratory facilities expanding as the institute matures. Its position within Delhi-NCR provides strong connectivity to the region's dense corporate and IT-services base.
