Admission to the flagship B.Tech and B.Arch programs is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, followed by centralized counseling through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board). For postgraduate programs, M.Tech and M.Arch admissions are conducted through CCMT based on GATE scores, M.Sc admissions through CCMN based on IIT JAM scores, and MBA admissions through CAT, CMAT, or MAT scores followed by an interview. Ph.D. admissions are managed at the institute level through a written test and a personal interview conducted by respective departments.

Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 (10+2) examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. For M.Tech: A minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPI in the qualifying B.E./B.Tech degree is required for General/OBC candidates (55% or 6.0 CGPI for SC/ST/PwD). For MBA: A graduation degree with at least 50% marks and a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score.
