National Institute of Technology Meghalaya

NIT Meghalaya started its first academic session in 2010. The institute is governed by the NIT Act and offers undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech, M.Sc), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. It comprises five engineering departments: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, alongside departments for Basic Sciences and Humanities. The institute is known for its high faculty-to-student ratio and a strong focus on research-driven academics.
