Admission Process Flow

For B.Tech programs, admission is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main, followed by centralized counseling through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board). For M.Tech, candidates must have a valid GATE score and register through CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech). M.Sc admissions are conducted via IIT JAM scores followed by CCMN counseling. Ph.D. admissions involve an institute-level written entrance test and personal interview. Leftover seats for PG courses are sometimes filled through an Institutional Spot Round.

General Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology, securing at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. M.Tech: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST). M.Sc: B.Sc (Hons) in relevant subjects with 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST). Ph.D.: Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or Science with a consistent academic record.
