The bulk of SSN's seats are filled through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling, based on a normalised Class 12 cutoff score (out of 200) for Tamil Nadu domicile students. A smaller share of seats is available under the management quota, filled by SSN's own admission process for out-of-state or otherwise eligible candidates.
