Admission Process Flow
The admission process for 2025-26 is conducted through both entrance-based and merit-based pathways. For B.Tech programs, students can apply via UPESEAT (University's entrance exam), JEE Main, CUET, or Board Merit. MBA admissions rely on CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, or UPESMET scores followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Design students must clear the UPESDAT or submit valid NID/NIFT/UCEED scores. Law aspirants are evaluated based on ULSAT, CLAT, or LSAT India scores. Applications are strictly accepted online through the official admission portal (admission.upes.ac.in) with an application fee ranging between INR 1,350 and INR 1,750.
General Eligibility Criteria
For undergraduate programs like B.Tech and BBA, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in both 10th and 12th grades from a recognized board. B.Tech applicants specifically require a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For postgraduate programs like MBA or M.Tech, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a relevant Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
