Fees follow the standard IIT fee structure (~₹2 L/year tuition plus hostel and mess); SC/ST/PwD and income-eligible students receive full tuition waivers under the Ministry of Education's fee-waiver scheme.
Fee Waivers & Payment
As with all IITs, tuition is waived for SC/ST students, PwD students, and General/OBC students from families with annual income below ₹5 lakh. Remaining students pay fees in two instalments per year through the institute's online portal; an education-loan support cell assists with bank loan documentation.
