GATE score validity: 3 years.For candidates with B.Tech from IITs with CPI ≥ 8.0, GATE exemption may apply as per institute norms.Final year students can apply but must meet degree requirements by time of admission.No age limit.

M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD) or CPI 6.0.Valid GATE score in EE (Electrical Engineering) paper. GATE score valid for 3 years.IIT B.Tech with CPI ≥ 8.0 may be exempted from GATE.Sponsored candidates need 2 years work experience.

M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD).Valid GATE score in ME (Mechanical Engineering) paper. GATE score valid for 3 years.IIT B.Tech with CPI ≥ 8.0 can apply without GATE.

M.Tech in Civil Engineering

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD).Valid GATE score in CE (Civil Engineering) paper.IIT B.Tech CPI ≥ 8.0 eligible without GATE.

M.Tech in Chemical Engineering

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or allied disciplines (Petrochemical, Biochemical, Polymer) with minimum 60%.Valid GATE score in CH (Chemical Engineering) paper.

M.Tech in Hydrology

B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Agricultural Engineering or M.Sc in Geology/Geophysics/Environmental Science with mathematics at bachelor level, minimum 60%.Valid GATE score in CE (Civil Engineering) or GG (Geology) or AG (Agricultural Engineering).
