MBBS In Abroad: Eligibility, Colleges, Fees, Exams & Jobs

Every year, thousands of Indian Medical students face the prime concern of getting admission to MBBS Colleges in India for MBBS Admission. Most of the students cannot afford the high Fees the private universities invite. Many Medical Colleges in several countries are offering MBBS and other medical programs at a low price.

Students from various countries including India, China, Nepal, and Bangladesh, etc are willing to review MBBS in Abroad Amongst the highest picks, come the countries like Russia, Ukraine, and lots of such countries. The medical universities in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Germany, and lots of other countries follow the international curriculum. the Medical colleges in these countries are approved by major organizations like WHO and enlisted with MCI.

MBBS abroad eligibility and requirements

Age Limit 

Age Must be 17 years ahead by 31st December. There is no upper age limit to apply for MBBS abroad.

Academic requirements

Students looking to pursue MBBS abroad are required to satisfy the below-mentioned academic requirements. 

  • The student must have completed his 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • The student must have an aggregate percentage of at least 50% or above in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and must have studied English as a compulsory subject during his 10+2 years.
  • Students are also required to qualify for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG). This is mandatory even if the student is planning to pursue his medical studies abroad.
  • The Students would also be required to produce an Eligibility Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India at the time of admission to Foreign Medical Universities.

Medical Requirements

The Students would be required to submit a medical certificate at the time of admission stating that the applicant is not suffering from any contagious diseases.

Exam(s) required to study MBBS abroad

From March 2019, an order passed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) made it mandatory for all Indian students wanting to study MBBS abroad to appear for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG). Students should note that the upper limit for appearing for the NEET-UG is 25 years for General Students and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC Students. The NEET-UG score is valid for a period of three years.
