Admission to MBBS/BDS programs is offered through NEET-UG 2023 national-level entrance exam. The NEET-UG is widely used by all Indian Medical Colleges for MBBS/BDS admission.

AIIMS and JIPMER admission is also done through NEET UG 2023 scores. Students who fulfill the given eligibility criteria can apply for NEET UG 2023.

Students must be Indian citizens. OCI students can also apply.

The minimum age for the student should be 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission.

The maximum age is 25 years and 30 years for reserved categories.

Students should pass the 12th class with a PCB subject combination along with English as a compulsory subject.

Answer:

NEET Cut off percentile has been provided by the NMC and DCI and is fixed at the 50th percentile for unreserved category candidates and the 40th percentile for reserved category candidates. The percentile depends on the relative score of all the candidates who have appeared in the exam. Therefore, the corresponding marks to the percentile vary each year as the performance of candidates will also be different.

Answer: 

The eligibility for state quota seats depends on the state counselling authorities. Candidates seeking admission to state quota seats will be required to at least obtain marks equal to NEET 2023 cut off but this sole requirement will not make them eligible for the state quota seats. There could be domicile requirements as well.

No, the result of NEET is valid for one year only. Therefore, the cutoff of NEET 2022 will only be considered for that particular year.

The qualifying percentile of NEET 2022 was 50 percentile for a general category with corresponding scores range of 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile with a marks range of 146-119.
